I am really fortunate to have regular supporters who not only buy the paintings, prints and cards on offer, but also commission originals.
Prices for a commissioned painting range from £400 to £800 depending on size of painting and amount of research and travel involved.
At the moment I am fully commissioned for the next 12 months (hurray!) but am happy to discuss doing work beyond that time.
Commissioning involves the following steps:
- First we discuss an idea and both decide the way ahead.
- I then draw you a sketch/plan so that you can confirm what you want.
- At that stage I give you a firm final price and require a £50 deposit to fix a firm place on the commissions list.
- When the painting is finished I ask for the balance owing on delivery.
I’m happy to discuss staged payments both for existing originals and for commissions – please don’t be afraid to ask.
